I woke up after another windy night on the beach to the sound of rustling in the tent. "Where's your camera?" asked my friend.
"Take it," I groaned.
An hour later, I crawled out of the tent, relieved that the sun had begun to warm the cold sand. The wind was still offshore, and the waves looked good.
"Look what you missed," my friend said, showing me the photos she had taken— the full moon setting directly above the ocean, with perfect waves breaking in the foreground. The shots were amazing! I felt disappointed for missing such an opportunity. I slapped my palm on my forehead a few times and laughed at myself for sleeping in. The next morning, I woke up early and was thankful the conditions were still aligned for this photo, Rabbit Moon.
