The first time I drove into this area was at sunset, and the colors struck me right away. I felt like I’d never seen anything like them before. They were normal but had different tones than usual. The sand dunes, rock formations, animals, and east-facing offshores were also slightly different from what I was accustomed to, creating a foreign, other-world-like effect.
I like this area because it's unique, but the waves make it a very special place too.
